Park visitation in the context of Khartoum town

Parks improve people's physical and mental well-being, strengthen communities, make towns neighborhoods more appealing places to live work. Many reasons discourage frequent park visitations, such as poor characteristics, management system, the lack of programs encourage visitation. Participation in different outdoor activities has become a necessity for many people nowadays. However, residents are not engaged recreational Khartoum, making parks an important element. Therefore, study aimed at investigating characteristics patterns users based on societal needs. The concentrates residents' age, gender, income, education level; these tested against visitation type visitation, best day visit frequency. A two hundred fifty (250) participant questionnaire survey was carried out Al Tifl Park assess park's pattern purposive sampling technique. result shows that most were regardless visitors' characteristics.
